Copenhagen Climate Concerns: Additional Considerations
Written on December 13, 2009 – 11:51 am | by SpeakOut
In addition to concerns that Copenhagen proposes solutions that neither science nor economics can prove feasible, these videos address issues in the media, academia and on Wall Street that propel the momentum of such fallacies.
The media wholly swallow bogus scientific claims and ignore counter claims that suggest slowing down or reviewing such claims. Academia lifts up high those who decry our America industrial successes and our ability to produce energy from a multitude of sources. Wall Street is overcome with Green Greed, and many stand to profit from Copenhagen when it creates a futures market on carbon emissions trading.
In the end, the Copenhagen summit will likely be called a success, regardless of its results. It is a starting point for an agreement among nations – 92 countries participating as of Dec. 7. Kyoto produced the same claims of success. However, it was never ratified. The danger with this Copenhagen agreement is its aggressive proposals that take aim at America’s domestic productivity and the underpinnings of our economy.
